Japanese Hall Stand

An extremely rare antique Japanese hall stand with intricately carvings of dragons, elephants and lily flowers etc, it is in the form of the ancient gat which can see it at entrance of the ancient village in Japan or ancient art, the hat hooks is in form of elephant head which is carved from wood, just amazing, they are removable from the hall stand, there is shoes box with lid at low part, it is a wonderful example piece of furniture from the Meiji era (1868-1912).

Antique Chinese Screen

An magnificent antique Chinese screen from Beijing, these screen usually placed in high rank officer’s office back to ancient days, so it must be very well made and choose very good timber as well. It is hard to see such good quality screen in now days because it becomes very collectable, and rarely to find it in very good original condition. This screen is decorated with very fine carved dragons and long live symbols etc at front side. The carving at front side usually represented the officer’s position, here is dragons, so it must be from Emperor’s family or very high position officer, at the back side is decorated Buddhism scene and long live symbols, the two sides panels can be fold (please see the pictures). It is in excellent original condition and date c. 18th century.
